On Saturday week (August 7th), there's aDragonboat regatta at the lake in Cheongju. The Korean Dragonboat Association have asked if we want to enter some expat teams to race against the locals. The day begins at 10am and runs until 5pm. Costs would be minimal, theKDBA will arrange a bus for us, departing from a convenient location (Itaewon area) at around 8am. We'd be back into Seoul at around 7pm. I need to know who would be interested by close of business this Wednesdaythe 28th.
Ultimately it would be good to have separate expat teams as at the last regatta. If numbers are insufficient we'll just enter a mixed boat provided there's enough interest.
Jinny - Thanks for your email. Could you please check with Mr Lee regarding boat numbers (haven't had a chance to get the document translated yet). Do they race witha full boat of 22 people or is it only 16 (14 paddlers + sweep and drummer) as at the lat regatta??
